Auxiliary Air Regulator (AAR) for automatic transmission Type 3 motors with D-Jet EFI.
Looks like you found a stash of NOS D-jet parts. Any Manifold Pressure SEnsors (MPS) in that stash? |

Yes, there are many Type 3 owners in the USA (and a few elsewhere) that want to keep their fuel injection system running.
If you have the part numbers it will help greatly as there are three generations of part sets (with some minor overlap of application). |

Never seen it, but the brass tip looks like an idle (pilot) jet. With the electrical tab, I'd guess an electromagnetic idle cut-off jet, but I've never seen that style on a VW Solex carb.
Ein/Aus means On/Off. Might be a manual bypass for the cut-off.
This is the typical VW style:

Could be, though I've never heard of a "fuel heater." Must be for extremely cold climates.
The bakelight plastic looks to be temp resistant, and perhaps the idle fuel passes through it like in the cut-off jet, but it is heated along the way? |

F.I. parts are sought after, and N.O.S. is what dreams are made of. N.O.S. means also that it has not been used or molested, which is even harder to find. I would suggest you start one tread, like you are doing. This way, people only have to find one thread for the part(s) they are looking for.
Here are some pages to help. You could print it out, and when you find a possible F.I. part, check. Then, take a sticky note (so as not to damage the box) and make a note. You might even try sorting simmilar thing together. Just some idias that bubbled up from the abiss of the soup of my mind! ;-)

hello thanks for the links
they will be really useful
True N.O.S is sometimes defined as a dream and for what it takes N.O.S parts are getting more difficult to find
i travel alot to find these parts and i spend alot of money on them...
sometimes i have to ask a littilbit of a high price since the total cost of the part would have costed me a lot not mentioning the travelling expences. but im still happy i can still offer these RARE finds and most of the time still in their vw box
thanks again
and wait for more strange parts pics |
