| My dad and I recently bought a 67 Fasty for my first car, and are having problems installing T1 headlights. Anyone have any info on how it is done? |

| You will need to do extensive body work to make them fit. Get Type-3 head lights. |

We have the type 3 headlighs already, and they fit fine, but we want to do something a bit more interesting. My dad is a skilled mechanic and has worked on several nice cars, so I think he can do it but we need to know the basics of it.
So any help will be appreciated. |

Here's another thread I ran across regarding the conversion. T1 headlight into T3. I was looking at doing the same thing years ago, to the point of picking up a set of these.
They seem to work visually much better than a standard T1 lens. Personally, I'm now glad I didn't do the conversion, given the new direction my square is taking. If you want, I can see about turning them up (if I still have them). Let me know & I'll follow up with yer pops (I work with him) when I find them. |

| If you want to do something really different..... Have you considered using Porsche 911 headlight buckets? The conversion would probably be a bit easier as the "curve" across the top of the fender is the same as Type 3. I was going to do it to my Fasty, but had a change of heart. I have the 911 buckets with the HL assemblies still. I would sell them if your interested. I'm near Sacramento too. PM if interested. |

| Thanks for the input guys, but with my dad and I tinkering with it we were able to get one of the headlights to fit in nicely and the other will be put in the next time we have a chance. |
