66, i just picked it up, in pieces, p.o replaced the pans and heater channels, but had the ass end hacked off to replace the firewall/luggage tray, and rear clip and apron. so the past 2 days i have been cuttin/welding/droppin/ tinkerin etc, drove her 20 or so miles last night gernaded the generator:oddeye-hellyeah:
next mission is a 3 inch narrowed beam, with the dropped spindles she rub a dubin on the front, (plus it needs to go lower. !!!!!!

I had the same problem with the front tires rubbing on my 66. Installed the narrowed beam and problem solved.
Great looking bug! |

I would go to a 6 inch narrowed or 4 inch
3 inch might not pull it in enough |

ya think?
im not a big fan of the uber pulled in look. running 135's.
i may end up raising the ass a bit. i dropped it 2 outter splines. i think the inners may have been messed with cause its on the ground. spring plates were notched by the p.o. werd was it used to be in the dirt with a narrowed beam.
so whats the increments of drop for outter/inner/combo splines?
havent had a dumped swing in a while. |
