Just a heads up. I was at the Rancho Cordova Pick N' Pull on Saturday and they had a '70 square in the cars for sale area. They hadn't put a price on it yet but the cashier said they would probably ask $700-$800 for it.

It looked like a nice candidate for a resto or a nice driver with a little work.

Body was straight and it looked complete. Looked like a diamond blue re-spray with some clear coat peeling off one fender. There appeared to be some structural rust where the driver side front fender met the rocker panel. I didn't crawl under it to look at the pans.

The interior looked decent and complete. Seats had been recovered in smooth vinyl with a small tear in the drivers seat back.

The car was locked and I didn't have time to ask to look inside so I didn't see the engine. Judging by the appearance of the car I would expect everything to be there.

Seemed like something someone here might want to check out.

I saw this car before is was is the sales area, it was back in the lot behind the fence. I asked about it, but it waiting on paperwork to clear. I just got a 69 squareback with a dual carb setup, not the stock f.i. for cheap up near placerville. It needs a new pan, and an interior, but the body is in decent shape.
