If you haven't heard from everyone already, that's one sweet rare dealer's badge that has been badly reproduced (in plastic ! !) in the past.
Seriously, put it up on Ebay, and offer it as a Porsche 356 Dealer's Badge and you'll do VERY well. If you don't wanna bother with Ebay, list it here:
http://www.356registry.com
List it in the classifieds (it's free to list stuff) and you'll sell it just as quickly to pretty much the same people, explain that you're not sure of the value but you'll accept the best, honest offer. They're good guys, they'd all love to have it.
Me too if I could afford it . . .
Luck ! ! !

I have on that came on my families 64 bug. it was part of the buy a bug and pick it up in Europe. vacation in your new bug and then ship it home...
Interesting history on Otto Glockler... he built a vw/porsche based mid engine racer that predated the 550. It was a brilliant car and was very sleek. He worked closly with Porsche and possibly consulted on the design of the 550...
I remember seeing a fiberglass Glockler kit that looked like the original hand made aluminum car.
