| I have some AN6 line and would like to utilize it for fuel line, now most fuel line is AN4 what if any adverse results would occur if I used the larger line? Dual Kadrons 1776 :?: Thank You |

| Would the thinning of said wallet be due to fuel consumption or major diaster, or just the expensive fittings? |

Just the slightly more expensive fittings and hose. I don't know of any downside until the hose gets too heavy for the fittings on the carb. Most people don't have engines that suck enough fuel to be affected by the difference in fuel line size.

| The large line will not cause it to burn more gas. Just the expense of the larger hose... but you already got it. |

| If you already have it, run it. I had some 3/8 laying around, so that's what I used. |

| If you have the an -6 use it. I am doing the same atm as I had some left over from a previous project. |

Stock factory line running to a .250"OD/.196"ID hard line on the engine all connected with 7mm hose.
I even run a stock Brosol mechanical pump.
My filter is a 8 micron metal filter with 1/4" in/out. The application is for a Toro lawn tractor. |

| Make sure there is a -6 or 3/8 hole in the tank to feed the line. I'm running -10 & 1/2" line in mine with an Aeromotive pump & return regulator, but that's a little over kill for most people's needs. |

| I got 2 -10 steel bungs & 2 -6 steel bungs for $3.00 each & welded them to my tank. The -10's are for the motor & the -6's are for the NOS. |

I did the same, but for those that don't want to weld on a fuel tank(scares some folks) and don't want to weld fittings together, the CB piece is great... |

| I wash the tank with a steam cleaner & dish soap. I used to own a radiator shop & did a lot of them. |

I actually only spent about 15 minutes making mine. I had the parts, so why not. In hind sight, I would have made it differently. |
