Slide it forward on the rails, there may be a small latch you have to raise.
Should slide right off. |

and WHY THE F&%$ did they have to put the last seat 'adjustment catch' on the exact spot where the slide out catch hits??
it's a PITA when you have a very snug/stuck seat in it's track to hold up on that slide release & the seat track, while pulling it forward.
I plan to weld that last seat track position closed. ;-)

danfromsyr-WHY THE F&%$
It's for safety. If the lever were stuck in release position the seat would slide all the way off in a panic stop. The catch prevents this from happening.
And yes it's a PITA! |

they do NOT need to BOTH be at the same position on the track.
yes there is need for a safety stop
yes there is need for slider catches.
at the same location where both need to be moved for removal of a seat.. F#@#
at least with the beetle/rabbit/golf there was a removeable bolt. always fun for the unknowning passanger sliding it back when left off ;-) |

last time I removed them, I pried the 4 stops (2 per track) in the rear up and slid it out that way.
I did not realize that there was a way to do if from the front. |
