| Ok the problem started two months ago. When I turn off my car it starts to diesel. I reset the timing still no help. Help please. |

| No the car doesn't turn off it idles like a diesel after it's off. |

The cutoff jets were put there to stop dieseling. Put them back.
In the meantime, stop the motor by puttung it in high gear with the footbrake firmly pressed. |

VW wired the car for them in '67. If you didn't take them off, someone else did.

Back your timing off a couple degrees. You are running hot spots in the cylinders. Or, you might go to a colder spark plug.
Did you change spark plugs BTW??
If you went to the platinum Bosch plugs, they may diesel. |
