Just take your time you will be fine as long as you keep Both reservoirs full of fluid.
open the bleeders a little and Slowly pump the pedal a couple of times
and you should have Gravity flow starting to help.
close them after you see fluid coming out and replace the missing fluid.
Then start the basic bleeding @ the right rear then left rear and then right front & left front.
You have readjusted the rear brakes right?
do you have a friend to help you ?
There are 124 posts in the SEARCH function here on brake bleeding too.! |

| Are the bleeder valves on the upper part of the calipers? Some calipers have 2 bleeder valves and some have only 1. Just use the higher 1 on each side |

No need to bench bleed the MC.
But bleed the left front then RF first. Then Left rear then RR. Don't do the rears first :o |

| I pulled the booster and master cylinder off yesterday from a 1972 bay window. The booster is going to Texas for rebuild and I'm replacing the mc. My question is what is that brake part that lives just south of the booster and is in line between the mc and the rear brakes. Could it be a proportional valve? It has a bleed screw on it. Do I need to bleed from there when I get everything back together or just do the fronts and rears in the correct order? Also, can anyone suggest a good parts house to buy the MC, the reservoir grommets, new vacuum line (4 ft.), and the rubber seal that lives inside the end of the plastic line running down from the fill reservoir to the mc reservoir. Should I buy the Brazilian mc for around $60 or the German for around $160. Thanks in advance. |
