| is there a fuel tank vent on the 55 bug my filler neck has two holes opposite each other with bolts and fiber washeres in them is there supposed to be a vent thanks rich |

| not from the factory. they have a vented cap. |

You could get venting kits from aftermarket suppliers such as this one from Perohaus.
