hi guys can anyone post a video on how hard is it to turn a new 1914 engine with a wrench? i want to make sure that my starter is weak and buy anotherone, but yea it takes me some force to turn it

It shouldn't be too hard to turn.
I dont have a video, sorry.
It should be harder on the compression stroke, then turn easily, then harder, and so on.

its not hard to turn at all, you actually should beable to spin the motor by the belt. even with dual springs, its not that bad, it hurts when you get your finger pinched between the belt and alt. pulley but just be smart. if your having a hard time spinning the motor by hand, its either seizing, or bearing clearances are too tight.

Should turn pretty freely assuming you have the spark plugs out. If they're in you're fighting compression.

yeap i guess its only compression because in a turn it's a lot easier then it gets hard, well i'll have to check it with my new starter...

Just pull the plugs and check first. Would suck if it was something else and you put a starter to it.
