Does anyone see any problems using this type of pressure plate? Does it look like I have it on right?
Thanks

Its not going to work. The ring in the middle is missing. It'l chew up your throw out bearing real quick.

I thought late model pressure plates didn't have the center ring - or do I have the wrong pressure plate?

If the car in his signature is the one it's going in then he does have the late model throwout bearing and the pressure plate is correct in not having the centering ring on it.

Yes it is the car in the signature - so I should be ok?

You should be fine - that's exactly what I've used in my '71 Convertible for about 4 years, when I swapped over my 1835DP. That engine came out of my '70, so I had to remove the PP center ring - like your photo shows - for my 1971. And I do use the three-arm pressure plate like in your photo; for some reason I still like that style better than diaphragm PP, don't know if anyone sells new finger type these days or not. I bet if they do sell them still that someone posts a link.
