| I tried shipping gates through GreyHound and they are too long. Try Fed Ex Freight. I used them before and they did a great job. If I remeber correctly it was $111 to ship from lower Alabama to Arkansas and it took 3 days for my buyer to recieve them. But that was 2 years ago or so. Oh, and you have to pick them up at the teminal or it's another $70 or $80 for them to deliver to your door. |

Did you have to pick them up at a main warehouse or did it come straight to your door at that price? Seems like a decent deal.

Just went thru this trying to ship a nose ..... from the Greyhound website ....

The maximum weight per package is 100 pounds. The extreme measurements of length, width, and height shall not exceed 30" x 47" x 82". |

I use Greyhound a lot for big items such as ice boxes, bumpers, etc.
Have you tried Amtrak? I sent a middle seat cross country with them once, it worked out great. The recipient needs to pick it up at his/her closest train station, of course.
