Has anyone seen this before? Is there anyone out there making something like this in the US? I couldn't find anything in the gallery.

I know they are about to be available out of florida. just wait a little bit.

BarryL Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:06 am

Were the US ones tilt-able? Will the Florida ones be?

my65vert Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:08 am

the us ones were not , the florida ones will not be tiltable as far as I know at the moment.

what would people be willing to pay for a set? good quaility and workmanship.

Germanpride Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:10 am

I just found those last night too. Were they an original Vw accessory? Or did someone just have a good idea afterward?

my65vert Thu Nov 20, 2008 8:20 am

here is a pic of the us ones that will soon be reproduced. shitty pic but you can see it.

I have a set of those in my Westy and they really DO divert the air. I usually don't even run full open on the vent because so much air blasts you on top of the head!

A local guy used to make and sell those for between 20 - 25 dollars a set. I have a set in the motorhome bus and like them a lot

sub-hatchtim Thu Nov 20, 2008 9:30 am

put me down for a set

ghostwagens Thu Nov 20, 2008 9:49 am

Do the Florida ones come in chrome or stainless steel? How do we order these?

besides i dont see how these would be tiltable unless there is a "hinge" on the other side towards the front of the bus. that just looks like a rivet to me.

also these wont fit on a singlecab or double cab, however i do have the measurements for the sc and dblcab so when the regular ones come out the sc and dblcab ones will be soon to follow.
