A while ago, my shifter bushing broke and the original shifter kept popping out. to fix this temporarily I put an empi short shifter with the reverse trigger lock, but the lock doesn't work and I end up grinding gears hitting reverse when I shift from 3rd to 2nd. If I replace the sifter bushing will it fix this?

Probably. It's not hard, just a little messy.
Replace it ASAP, or you may wear out the hole and the new bushing will not stay in place. |
