I have a 63 baja I just picked up for a project. I'm debating on leaving the stock pan or building my own chassis. The thing thats leaning me towards buildign my own chassis is that the pans and the heater channels are both all rusted up.
What is the procedure for repairing them if neither one can be used for alignment? |

| The floorpans are bolted to the heater channels, so you can use what's left of the old floorpans to bolt down the new heater channels while you weld them in, then take the bolts out and replace the floorpans, or vise-versa. |
