No problem. Didn't we already blast another one to PC?

Well... It's been awhile and you have been a little busy since then...

Sean & I will be at Home Depot tonight then Mexican if anyone wants to join.

Also, anyone going to BugOut should Pre-register as it saves a little bit of money.

I have sort of updated the website. Still working on it. It was VERY outdated though.

Yeah, I noticed that. Looks really good and I'm really happy that you can see some progress. You needed that in a big way.

I have everything gathered to do the spot welds and I really want to go after it, but I'm sick again. Same crap that I had a month or so ago. I am really tired of the upper respiratory crap that folks are spreading around. I am hoping to get back to it this weekend if the antibiotics work as expected.

I'll help you with it. That shouldn't be a more then one or two day job tops. The whole thing I mean. Removal and replacement. Should really improve your engine compartment.

swhitcomb Wed May 16, 2012 10:24 am

Hey Cook, looks like you're not the only one to have the rear main seal problem.

Cool. I have to get that done so that I can move on to paint and the new insulation set that I got. I also got the new tranny mounts and can put those in any time. It should be fun to open the engine bay when it's all done.

I am planning on going to it and maybe two others from the Wagenfolks club.

Didn't they used to do a show every year?

jallmond Thu May 17, 2012 5:14 pm

If anybody wants to know; a '73 Westy is a very unique vehicle to work on.

They used to. The main guy that pushed the event has backed out somewhat to take care of ailing parents. I went to the last show held in Hiawassee GA last July.

This years event will mostly be cruises around Lexington - Elizabethtown KY.
