I can only find black or off white pinch welting to finish around my 1/4 window pop outs. Were there other colors originally offered back in the day? The white looks too stark against my dark blue vinyl interior and the black looks too dark against my clean new headliner from WCCR.
I can have it dyed a shade of grey if that was an option back then but I'll settle with black or white if that is what is considered correct. |

I don't know about in the Oval era, but I think they were in Silver Beige in the early 60s, which is grayish color. I've transferred a complete set of popouts from a 64 into my 62 and have kept the original pinchwelting, it looks like this:
