Hi
I recently bought a 1976 convertible in L80E (light ivory white) but I like to know the correct color of the top cover and seatcovers.
Could I find the correct color codes here somewhere.
I also need informationabout the injection engine
Many thanks

Can't help you with the color combinations but the best info for the FI engine is in the Bentley manual.
If you have problems with the engine there are a few here that can help. |

| The 1st triple whites had off white (opal) interiors and off white (called sand) top. In todays world that is a white top and TMI's bright white interior. |

Robbins makes a very nice top. One thing about Triple white cars. Most of them you see driving around have white tops but like Dr Darby said, originally the sand colored tops were an off white, more of a gray-white which is very different that what most folks are used to. Under normal, every day use, these tops would last maybe 10 years. Many have been replaced with white tops because they look nicer, but are not necessarily correct. So, when it comes to ordering your top, be very specific that you are looking for the original "Sand" color, or you'll probably get a white one [providing that your want that].
