Somewhere in my endless searching for information I came across a link that had a stereo sub-woofer in the back under the rear window. I believe it was a 68 or earlier. The thing that made it stand out was the sub-woofer had a VW emblem over it. And somewhere in the body of the thread it said where they had purchased it. I'm going to put a new stereo in my wife's bug for x-mas and I think she would flip over that emblem. Hope someone can help.

You mean this one perhaps? There's a note in his Gallery listing that it was just a Bus emblem, not saying where he got it though. I'd guess the old swapmeet or Samba-Classfieds por eBay thing.
