| I recently adjusted my carb and timed the engine but Im having a strange problem. The car is set to 900RPM but for the first ten minutes or so, the car wont idle without me giving it gas. Any suggestions? |

| When you adjusted the carb, did you do it with the engine fully hot? Did you mess with the choke at all? |

Before I adjusted it, I drove it around for about 5 minutes |

That's probably your problem. Before I adjusted mine, I drove it around for about 30 minutes to an hour. Enough for the oil to get hot. When the oil gets hot, pressure drops, which lowers your idle.
Raise the idle enough that the engine will stay running, go for a long drive, then set the idle. |
