View original topic: Camber Issues on Rebuilt Frond End

Here is my problem. I rebuilt my ball joint front end with all new german ball joints, tie rod end, new seals, tie rod arms, steering box etc. I have dropped spindles, new shocks, and a new disc brake setup. The camber seems still off on one side with the new camber adjusters completely at its smallest setting so the wheel should be tilted inward. All the arms, bearings in the both torsion tubes look great. Everything fit wonderfully, but when I try to adjust it, it is off. Now the suspension is super tight as it is on a Manx and I have not drove it to set everything yet as I am in the wiring stage. Any ideas!! Nothing looks bent whatsoever and the arms bolted into the suspension without any hassle. Nothing is pulling outward to suspect something broken in the beam.

Can you describe "where" the notch in the adjuster is located now? (front, rear, inboard, outboard)

Also, the camber will look odd until the wheels have rotated at least half a rotation to "settle".

Have a similar problem. Rebuilt front end on my 74 SB. I have adjusted the passenger side to -1 degree camber with the adjuster, but the closest I can get the drivers is -2.5 degrees using the adjuster ( the lobes big end is pointed toward the cars centerline at max adjustment)

Any ideas????
