New to the bus, searched around, found Ratwells site, but still have a basic question.
Are the FI components for the later busses (up to 79) compatible with the 75 bus?

The last half of 75 production will fit as they are "7 pin". The first half of 75 is different and is a "6 pin" set up.

| each and every year has different parts. some cross over, like the sensors, cold start injector, aux air valve. many do not, like wire harnesee, afm, ecu. automatic and manual have different ecu. cali and federal have different ecu. many minor differences from year to year. some parts that are upposed to be different can in fact be interchanged, for instance all the later 7-pin afm's will more or less work on any year. eg. aircooled vanagon afm will work on a 77-79 bus. |

| If you have a complete system from another bus just swap the whole shebang over. The FI from a 2.0 will work find on a 1.8 and vice versa. |
