| I recently read somewhere that someone put in a tank and used an autostick oil pump (part of the pump that would have origionally pumped the tranny fluid) to cycle the oil from the tank thru the turbo then back to the tank. It caught my attention at the time because it looked like a really clean install and if you ever had trouble grenading the turbo it wouldn't effect the engine oil. good luck. |

im new to this forum and have only turbocharged late 80's toyota engine but im sure the same type of priciples and setup would apply but anyone correct me if im wrong
this is probably the cheapest way to run the oil feed and return
feed.. get a brass t section where your oil pressure sensor goes, and run a line to ur turbo
return.. if you have a extended sump some of them have a few blanks on them where you can tap a brass fitting into for the ruturn from your turbo |

| For one of my other cars (not vw) I did like above ^ put a T behind my oil pressure sender for the turbo feed line. The return I just welded a bung onto my dipstick tube and attached it there. |

An unregulated tap is a great way to make sure your oil supply bypasses the engine bearings. I wouldn't risk that kind of setup. |

hate to tell ya WD but thats how all turbo oil feeds are setup
drain just depends on where ur turbo is mount but if its up high then alternator stand, fuel pump mount (if running electric pump) or rocker covers
but if its down low it can be abit tricky
thats were semi auto pumps work well like rustybutterknife said |
