We're installing a dormobile top onto an EZ Camper (the bus was already hacked a bit by the PO, but is otherwise very dry and straight). Where does the bottom, shorter bow go? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did your donor Dorm roof come from a Bay or a Split?

Is that a wood or metal bow? It doesn't look familiar to me at all. :?

So far as I know, there are 3 bows. One each at the front and back of the opening, then one halfway between the back one and the far back end of the roof. 8)

Hey Pyro, thanks for answering the white courtesy phone on the first call.

I bought the top about a year ago from Santiago (Michy328) listed as a split dormy top, so I'm fairly sure its from a split.

Pyro, we were wondering about that as the location of the third bow. If a third bow is supposed to support the roof behind the rear edge of the opening, we may not need it. We plan on refitting the center metal roof brace (the one that has to get cut anyway) behind the rear edge of the opening, which should give better support. If its used as a headliner hanger, then we'll install it too. New belly pans have already been added as well. Thanks again.

True that! My top came off a phatchick which places it more "forward" than on a split bus. I also failed to use the third bow but since I realize this after it was all done, didn't bother to take the paneling apart to install it. 8)

Good to hear you got the belly pans also taken care of. :)
