| what is the correct way to paint the interior and door jambs on a two-tone paint job? I have seen it done many ways, but how was it done from the factory? is it year specific? |

There is no correct way on 58-57 Bugs. They didn't exist.
Split verts and Hebs had 2 tone paint jobs, but that was it. |

| Not just 57 - 58, but no bug sedans were two-tone. Only a few of the Karmann Kabs were offered in two-tone by Karmann. |

Everyone is correct, there were no "factory" sedans with two tone paint just verts. There might be a few "dealer" painted 2 tone sedan so how they were painted we don't know. Here are some pics from wiggys 55 vert, that shows how he painted it...
