hello all
hope everyone has a great thanksgiving can anyone tell me how i install a horn button i have a older steering wheel in my 71 superbeetle
and theres no way i can use a canceling ring so i would like to put a button under my dash just don't want to burn anything up

You can't burn anything. The horn wire to the steering wheel has to be grounded to sound the horn. The + power to the horn is always on with the key and it is switched with the ground wire. So run the wire to a push button or "momentary" switch and connect the switches other terminal to a ground.
