I just got done installing CB's weblink kit on my 44's and I noticed that their throttle control arm provided with the kit places the throttle linkage much higher than the regular position. At about a 1 o'clock rather than the regular 2 o'clock. It seems to be placing the linkage in a bind when you apply throttle. The control arm looks off when compared to the one in the instructions. Has anybody ever ran into this? It just seems REALLY off.

The weblink arm is clocked differently from the standard redline arms. Talking to Mark, he told me what to use and it worked.
You need to have both carb arms clocked the same, otherwise you'll run into all sorts of issues, if not with the linkage itself, tuning as the opening rate will be different through the range of motion.
Of course, I'm assuming you're using a cross bar setup:

Item 3406
The totally crappy thing is that CB has a minimum purchase though and that part is a buck or so if I remember right. |
