The black and gold mustang in the background. Hertz as in Hertz car rental. Back in the day people would rent them and take them to the strip to race. Also ford also did hertz mustangs in 2007 and the same thing happened. |

That is a Shelby GT-350 or GT- 500 in the back ground. In 65-66 you could rent them from Hertz rent-a-car and guys would race them on the weekends and return them on monday.

These are the to cars that got me fired up in 99' and 02'. It weird to think I know both owners, and am friends with one.

Actually, the Hertz cars were called the GT-350H. I don't think they ever made the Hertz in a big block.
