I know the video shows my 2003 Jetta Wagon, but the second part (where you see the wagon driving) the sound you hear is from my old 1776cc with S&S 1 3/8" header and S&S single quietpack

Here is My old engine. 1600DP with a cracked head, beaten head, ruined piston, worn out cylinders, and a spark that only went in half way. Oh yea, Dual 40mm Brsol Solex carbs (too big for the 1600 but the car came with it) and a Euro-Tuck exhaust. :twisted: Not bad for a ruined engine, did not even floor it.
Fresh type 3 1600DP converted to upright cooling coming soon... :wink: |

1800 just after initial engine run in less than a year ago. There's all sorts of noises in that clip tuned out since then.
Don't mind the shakey "Blair Witch" camera angles, I was all twitchy on caffeine at the time.
