From the inside of the car. If you click "Link" and go to youtube you can click on "watch in high quality". It improves the sound. |

The first vid some of the crowd was heckling me that I'd be spanked. 3 care lengths later I was smiling. |

| Hey Alan U. I was looking at your time slip and you may just have it dialed up this way or you may be short shifting a gear or getting out of it a bit before the end of the track. I can't really tell what but it looks like its starting to fall over on the back half of the track like its running out of something. Considering how it comes out of the hole I think you can find a bit more in it. |

The vid w/ timeslip was with a different tranny.
I just dont have the luxury of getting to the track to really fine tune. Seems the 1 time a year I go lately its humid and ridiculously hot. |

This was taken in May of 07 when I just installed the 031 distributor. Since then, I've switched from points to a Pertronix, and changed out the blue coil to the higher output red coil. The muffler is actually a resonator from a Mazda B2600 truck that I modified and built it into the exhaust system. I started out with a 2 1/4" exhaust tube and Raptor muffler system, but lost some bottom-end power. Redid the system with the Mazda resonator and 2" tubing and it works way better.

Here's a short video clip of my Single Cab's new 2332 taken recently. The sound isn't very good as it was shot using my "Coolpix" digital camera. A buddy e-mailed me and told me it sounds like I adjusted the valves using oero cookies for feeler gauges. Nope, valves are set at 0 cold, its just the poor sound quality from my little camera.
We're just about done with the snow around here, so I hope to get some seat time with this set up soon! 8) |

I posted earlier in the thread with my old motor. I finally finished the new one and got a quick crappy video of the camshaft break-in. It's all I've got for now.
