Here it is on the dyno: 2332, T3/T4, BG 750 double pumper, exhaust and manifolds for the comp eliminator heads all fabbed by me. VW paradise cam, .605" lift at the valve.

Stock 1300cc with PICT 30-2 carb with missing accelerator nozzle, Mexican "Turbo" exhaust, missing cylinder tin, nonfunctional air flaps, garden hoses as fuel lines etc. All done by the PO.
Now it's a 1641cc with a Weber IDF 40 and all the engine tin, new 009 distributor (I know, bought it before I got on TheSamba) new bearings, new valves and springs, case and heads gone over by a machine shop that has done a lot of VW work, a lot high performance stuff as well, so it's all good. :D As soon as I get the gas tank in the car and all the seats and stuff I'll post a new video. :D |
