just picked up a new set of eagle 5.880 rods. for my 90.2x103
part# crs5880vw3d
it says big bore end diameter 2.125 what rod journal would this be? is this chevy?
i know chevy journal is 2.000, im guessing eagle states their rod journal with no bearing, and if you were to add a 1/16 for each side of the bearing, it would add up the 1/8 of clearance there.
any input? thanks |

Buick has a 2" journal. Could be Chevy

Ya, but Buick had their own engine program until the 90's.

I found my answer else where. I was right. A rod with a big end bore of 2.125 is Chevy.
And glen is correct, it is actually Buick |
