yeah the front is cal/mexi bumper and the rear is german.both bumpers have been striped and powder coated.thanks i am glad some one besides me like her.

I owned two 74' Red Sedans in the 70's-early 80's. I now have a red (what else?) 79' convertible. Sure wish it had a carb instead of fool-injection! Although, it hasn't acted up lately.

Thanks for the headsup. I've been driving it for 7 years and haven't had anything like that happen - 'course never can tell when something bizarre might happen.
I have had it happen before, though. first time I'd taken the rear torsion assembly apart on the '63 - I neglected to tighten/torque the driver's side. Amazing how much force a wheel flying off the car has; good thing nobody was walking on that particular sidewalk. - and a good thing it didn't come off while I was flying down the highway :shock:
I'll check into the lugs. :)

I put my wheels and new tires on, and was driving on the freeway the next day, front end started to shake so I slowed down. As I was pulling into the emergency lane the front driver's side wheel went flying straight up and over the car and down a ravine. I looked for an hour for the wheel and couldn't find it. I happened to have some lug nuts with me so I put my spare on. Came back the next day and looked for 2 hours before finding it! It was laying in the middle of some railroad tracks! :lol: Bent up my front fender and door.

This is my 75 Super. It is actually a 09/75, I thought the hardtops ended sooner, but guess not. This picture was taken in August on vacation. No, it is not FL :D
