1972 Super for me:

Previous owner had backed into a tree, so I'm in the process of repairing the rear. Not too bad of a car, though. I'd say the '72 is a favorite year for super for me.

I own a 73 vert now. Owned a 73 hard top 20 years ago. Nothing special to me about a 73. It just worked out that way. I believe Supers drive (steer) better at speed than standards. Thus, making better daily drivers but only by a bit.

This was what happened for Christmas...
Sorry about the bad picture.

Supers are awesome.
Hopefully by May it should be fully legal.

I got the 79 vert in my avatar for my birthday last year. It was supposed to be for my 40th but I couldn't wait another year. :D I love this car. I have wanted a 79 triple white since I was 16! So it has been a long wait. When I figure out how to post pictures I will. I had an awesome 74 super that I wish I had never sold. My least favorite was the 98 imposter I got from work. I used to work at VW Headquarters and in 98 they didn't want the first few hundred "New Beetles" to go to customers so some employees got them as company cars. It sat in my drive the 10 months I had it and drove my 98 Audi A4Q most of the time. It had less then 5k on it when I turned it in and that was only because a co-worker borrowed it for several months.

Sorry about that...
I wish that was how it happened...what I meant was that I decorated the car for Christmas. I bought it in the middle of summer, on the hottest day of the year.

do my eyes deceive? Is that the product of immaculate conception in the front seat?
With the youth group - we used to ask the question - If Jesus were in the car with you - where would he sit?
Thanks for answering this deep question. :o :o :o :o :o

hey mike with those rivieras you might want to check to see how much thread is going in if you have stock lug nuts i did and my tire kept coming loose i recommend a stud kit and then you have chrome lugs instead of half black half rust lugs
