This dude on another board is claiming these wheels are real Porsche Fuchs. He says they were built for 356's. And thats what he pulled them off. He seems like a nice guy, but says I am mistaken. So help me out with more info on the wheels, or even some OG ads...

| The wide five porsche wheel's were made by american eagle and are no longer being made. They aren't that rare but they are really becoming popular now. And a bit pricey. Very nice wheel and they can be polished up really nice or chromed. I just put a set on a Binz crew cab I just restored. They are NOT a real porsche made wheel. If they were they would have the porsche part# on them. |

| The funny thing is back when they were new, if you had a set of those, it was like having 'Pro Wings' while every one with real Fuchs had on Nikes. I still think they are awful but thats just my opinion. |

Exactly.......I had them back in the 90's, and felt like a poser not having the "real" Porsche Alloys. Now, I'd love to have a set again. When they're polished up, they're really nice!
