Hi,
I have to change the front suspension a lot. I change from the original suspention to late ones (ball joint). So I need to short it and wheld it back in the horizontal and vertical positions. horizontal I had to short 12cm or ~4,8" because I am using adapter I made from 4 lugs to 5 lugs and of course the wheels are large. In vertiacal it was shortned to fit the original chassis front head, thats no big deal, also I had to cut some in both sides just right below the tank where the suspension arms hold the shock absorber, because it was horizontaly shortned 12cm.
My wheels are 7" with tires 205mm/40mm/17".
and in the rear I am using early transmission, but I had change to it to use the early axe tubes/bars (b/c they are shorter) and then I need a sepace to adjust it ok.
I'll take some pictures and I'll post here soon. |

I know you didnt say much about the interior...
I am just curious if you did these off the original 57 seat frames? Did you do them yourself or was it a kit or send them into an upholsterey shop? Shed a little light on this pleae?

Hola, soy de Asuncion - Paraguay, tu Oval esta hermoso. Tengo un Beetle 1961 que quiero restaurarlo y me gustaria dejarlo parecido al tuyo con el mismo color.
Las fotos son hermosas, el trabajo de restauracion me parece excelente. Tienes mas fotos?
