Haven't talked to John "VW" Howard about the dice run but I'm sure it's on with a new ending location. Fixed it for you John

DICE RUN IS ON !!! New start and finish location this year. It's called "THE SPOT" and is right up the street from Gallagers, ( turn right at 4 way stop up from Gallagers and it is on left by the gas station) will have more info later. They are letting us take over the whole place after 5PM. Parents, get ready as they have about 50 token machines with prizes for tickets won, lots of 2 person games. They also have one of those 2 person 4 step jap dancing machines that we can use, Stan you ready for a dance off??? Will be free sodas all you can drink, pizza, hot wings, ect. Beer and wine only  so no boose. Dragnink will do Dice Run shirts again this year and I will have something extra for all drivers. Different route this year with a stop on the Island (bring a fishing pole and maybe a screaming eagle will bait your hook) :D :) :D :) Date of Dice Run is Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 1st bus out at 4PM.

Me and computers always have problems, Dino to my rescue most of the time :D

The dice run is always a great way to start BBB and it makes sure that I get a good early start on Thursday!

I just tried to do Google Street View of both Gallagher's and The Spot and I see residential neighborhoods. Looks like the Google folks haven't quite got a handle on the Havasu Maze yet!

Thats because they are in the middle of housing. Havasu planning at it's best

Well, I kind of know what Gallagher's looks like and Google street view doesn't look like it. :?

Either that or there's a PEBCAK error.

No worries though, as I can still read a paper map! :)

ERIC!!!!!!!! How are you? Mona tells me you are on fb too. I drove my 78 westy up here and people stare at it like it was Old or something! Can't believe how much it rusted in 8 weeks, scary! Had Russ bring up my Jeep and take the bus back to dry country. It'll be the raffle booth again @ BBB. Talk to you

Gates open Friday a.m. around the crack of dawn or so. Really when Cory and Art decide to open them which depends on how much fun they have thursday night

As always I'll be there at dark-o-thirty, coffee truck will be there at crack or thirty and a half
PLEASE LINE UP ALONG THE STREET (DO NOT BLOCK THE GATE "BOTH LANES", it's the first in lines job to enforce this. I hate wakeing people up to move out of the way so the crew and vendors can get in.

It'l be here before we know

OK, for the benefit of the non-Havasuians, by "the street" you mean the service road that extends north from the gated entrance, correct?

If you mean being within earshot we've all been camping with VEETEEOHH for years...

I think the whole Cabana areas are VTO, OCTO, LVVWC, The Last Resort and Save the Bays and most of Colorado,, merged all together .

It also appears BBB 14 will have a RV/toybox camp-out to coincide with the event. I have heard of a few 5th wheels making the journey with there buses so these people can camp with the comforts of home

Ronnie,
Instead of a 5th wheel or toy hauler for the comforts of home I would just do what DraginInk did..... BUY a house in HAVASU
