Volks,

Have a long time now I have been thinking about putting a small book together to raise a few $$$ for the VW Pay it Forward Charity fund.

Working title subject to change ""VW stories, poems, haiku and other drivel from Roads Less Taken"

I have already contacted Unca Joel and am very honored that he has given permission to use his contributions.

What I now need;

Please send via private email ([email protected]) all VW related stories, poems, haiku's and other cool drivel that you think should be considered for such a project.

Please put "VW Drivel" in the subject line of the email and please do not clog the forums/lists with submissions.

Once I see what we have to work with I can determine if there is enough for a small book.

Please include the original author of the material if know.

Please send everything you can find included Unca Joel posts.

P/S .. don't tell Maggie she thinks we have too many projects already :)

I Search Samba, this post comes up.

If you want help with a Charity, give us some verifiable information about it.

My apologies folks,

Should have given a bit more info on ourselves and the Pay it Forward Fund (PiFF).

A few years ago we started a very humble "informal" charity effort called Pay it forward (PiFF) to help keep a few more buses/vans moving down the highway or those within our VW community who needed a helping hand.

Most recently with the help of friends we collected donations of just over $16000 from all over the world for the Boston Bob Memorial Fund.

Normally we focus on small projects like helping a stranded traveller or gettign a daily bus/van driver back on the road when cash has run out because of an unexpeted series of events.

The page needs updating but you get the general idea.

Projects are funded thru sales of a few items (100% of all proficts go to PiFF) like clanedars, posters and such and mostly by donations.

This is a small informal charity effort.

Monies raised are generally minimal and only allow us to help a few folks throughout the year.

The VW Drivel Book is an itme we hope would raise a bit of money for future projects.
