Thinking about what I am going to do about a Speedo. Not really wanting anything bulky. A friend of mine and sandrail builder turn me onto this Speed Hut . Well if you buy a VDO speedo electronic and pay for all the parts you come up to the same price or more. For 169.00 plus shipping I can get a custom Speedo designed by me in the color I want with my sand rails logo on it. I just cannot wait . I have a few more electric connections to make and I will be able to ride.
The Exhaust is on the car. Getting closer. |

| If you need to measure speed, the cheapest is get a bicycle speedometer. Epoxy a magnet on your rim and run the sensor off your spindle. Most will measure up to 99 MPH and distances once you input the wheel circumference. Trail Tech makes integrated units for about $125 that measure speed, distance, RPM and temperature. These are not DOT approved units but both ideas get you a sealed unit that takes little space for little money. |

| I'm offering solutions you may not have considered - The bike speedometers are proven even if you laugh. Now if you feel that the front will be off the ground too much to get accurate speed, there's nothing stopping you from mounting a magnet and sensor to the rear rim, hub or half-shaft... |

Having seen his build in person, I do not think he is worried about a bike speedo working, I think it is a point of matching the build.
This is a high quality build with no expense spared with only the best quality parts used. The bike speedo may be high quality, but it certianlly does not have any place on this rail. |

Well It has been a long time coming. But I have drove it around the yard. Placing finishing touches on it this week. But she is finally there. Will be posting pictures very soon.
She has over 100 metal spider webs on it. So her name was changed to Web Addiction. When you see the final shots please post your thoughts. |
