Well the apron on my car is falling off, so I am thinking about making it removable, but was also thinking about running it apronless for now, due to my lack of lower engine tin. It would only be temporary, I just have to get the car registered so my landlord won't complain about having it in the driveway. Just wanted to see if anyone else is running apronless, and also, would it cause problems with the cooling with no lower cylinder tins?
As I said it would only be temporary, but I am ordering my last batch of parts (mainly brake parts) within the next two weeks, and then plan on saving for the kit by awesome powdercoat.
I am open to all suggestions, except cutting it to look like a baja. And the time it would be running apronless would be weekend cruises for maybe 2 or 3 months while I get the rest of the stuff I would like to do while the engine is out again. |

| That they are, but I meant I dont want to cut from the firewall back. I need to at some point to replace some shady repair on the drivers side, and I have a replacement clip, but don't want to cut it all up right now if I dont have to. |

I actually almost moved there, to Casa Grande, but my aunts job transfer didnt go through. Although I am sure the cars there dont suffer from the rot like they do here in New England.
Thanks for your input, like I said, its only a temporary fix. I do want to get a standard some day to baja it though 8) . |
