I put my engine in about 1500 miles ago, I replaced all rubber fuel lines so (knocking on wood) I should be good to go. |

Reminds me. Good buddy was a fireman in Winston Salem N.C. He responded to a car fire call. On the scene a VW bus engulfed in flames. Bus belonged to a friend named Vonnie. Vonnie and his teen age son had been driving along when, they stated "smoke and flames shot up from the floor of the bus"
An investigation reveled that a "Bong" had rolled under a seat and being still hot, started the fire.
Vonnie had replaced the fuel lines a few weeks earlier. |
