| Garnet VW in Chadds Ford PA was always nice about hosting us. We were there several times over the years. Actually, there are several aircooled VW guys that work at Garnet. |

yeah, having our local dealerships on board would be awesome! ---steve and jordan at Garnet, Bob and the crew at Jim Wynn, and hopefully Devon and Vision. they have Pre Show GTGs and Cruises written all over it!
i'd like to have a dealership on board for DripFest at some point too...
when i lived in norristown i used to try and hit all the classic car/muscle car gtgs in the area...norristown, collegeville, pottstown, phoenixville, chesterbrooke, and this one at Sonic in Morgantown on Thursday Nights is really popular too! they fill that big parking next to sonic consistently every week.
the goal is to establish our Monthly Meets and get consist numbers of cars each month, if the demand is there (and i truly believe it is), then we can have those weekly or every other week/weeknight GTGs at some other location or a rotating location, like a shop or dealership, etc.
i'm also working with our watercooled family on some cool cruises/outings as well (more to come on that)..
yeah, we should definitely chat about it more this saturday!!!

you don't need to be in ghia on saturday, jump in the stang and head north! i'll be in the cabby ;-)
just want to get everybody together to hang out and get some contact info from everyone that i already don't have info on.
we'll then hop in our cars and cruise up rt23 through the park into Phoenixville and grab some grub/brew at either Iron Hill, PJ Ryans, or La Taverna...somewhere in the phoenixville area. |

we had a great turnout, we had 19 peeps and 9 vws/audi come out in 'kinda cold' weather!
i'll post up the photos tonight or tomorrow but in a nutshell we had:
1 '65 Bug
1 '68 Callook Bug For Sale
1 '74 Standard (was that the year of the red bug?)
1 '73 Super
1 '78/79 Vert (i forget what year glen's vert is)
2 Mk1 Cabbys
1 harlequin audi (thanks to willy at East Coast Imports)
1 '07 Rabbit
i want to thank everyone who did venture out (Nick, Chuck, Chris, Rick, Ed, Ramon, Glen, Willy, Marc, Jon & Lizann, etc etc etc) and look forward to next month's GTG! |

| We will start out with a weekday night meeting at Garnet and we will take it from there. If there is enough interest in a weekend show perhaps we could pursue it with them. Once I confirm the date for the March meeting I will post it in the forums. |

i'm manning PA, sean is manning St.Augustine and Jacksonville.
being a free club, the OCOD is a loose club with no real hierarchy like other clubs (president, vice, treasurer, secretary, etc etc etc).
people keep asking me what they need to do to 'be in the club', i keep telling them, "just show up and have a good time" 8) |
