| Drove it. 77 miles. That's the most it's moved under it's own power in a single day since I first found it in 1985. Discovered a few more problems for Tram to figure out when it goes over to him someday. |

Finally got my Squareback back together about a week ago...
NOS exhaust, rebuilt carb. and fuel pump, nice used intake with clear pre-heat tube, NOS pre-heat valve, NOS fuel sender as my original one failed from sitting, NOS rear wheel cylinders, re-done rear shoes, new rear axle seal, changed tranny fluid/oil/brake fluid/etc., etc.
Fresh gas:
Engine:
It running a little choppy but I think the original (pretty sure they are original) spark plug wires might be shorting out.
You aren't supposed to get shocked just touching the ends, right? New set is on order.
Pre-heat pipe bracket broke off but my friend welded it back on
Of course I only drove it a couple days before I took it back apart because the shift bushing I replaced many years ago tore and fell out of the hanger. Arggg.
Rod coming out
Put in a new repro one I had laying around and it tore trying to get it installed. WTF. Ordered another one...
Polished up the horn grille

I really like the way that square looks. Something about a stock black '63 Square just checks all the right boxes. |

| I fixed my front end and took care of a major air leak in the system... now the front end will stay pumped up for 1/2 hour instead of 5 minutes! Should make my compressor much happier :D |

Does your car have the 3 vent sliders, or was it early enough to have 4? |
