It's on the 10 year restoration plan like some of the club members cars on here  . I had a tranny to put in it but I am using it for the singlecab since 4th gear went out. I'll probably drive the silver bug.
What's wrong with the tranny? I'll buy it back if it's still good... |

| It's been 3 years and yeah I have been slacking. I already have the type4 2 liter built and ready to install, I just need to do the 944 brakes and the irs tranny swap. Maybe I will get on it this week, but I know it won't be done for the ranch party, perhaps the pier show.... |

that 3.88 trans is in the back of my bus at my house.... sorry I couldnt get it to you before I left... but it's there for whatever ride you need it for... you really need to get the westy back on the road I miss seeing that bus... the 3.88 IRS and T-4 2 liter is going to be the setup for sure!! is that a RABY shroud your running on that motor?? |

It's a Sharpbuilt 911 shroud. I'd rather have thel 911 fan look, although I do have an OG never used Joe Lociero DTM shroud from the late Joe. Jake now has the molds and makes new and improved versions of the shroud  |

| What's up fellas. I know I have been out of the loop for a while but the VW virus has no cure. This thread is a nice walk down memory lane. I think I may have a few pictures to post but I will need the assistance of Mr. Walters to get the Scalded Dog up and running again. I may also have a few stickers stashed away...I'll take a look. |

| Pat, Do remember the Air Cooled Junkies of Ft. Lauderdale? I had the turquois 67 beetle with the wide five fake fuchs(at that point it was all about Bergs!), I use to hang out with Kelly and Chris at Tower Shops. |
