I second that. I have had a 32" Sceptre for 2.5 years now. No problems whatsoever. When I was researching it initially, turns out they had been making lcd's for a long long time. I work in the IT industry and see all types of lcd's and brands. From my experience, the technology is rock solid, and any brand you go with will be reliable (there are lemon's of course), and any variations in color/contrast/brightness will depend on the manufacturer. But that's why we have warehouses full of them for cheap, so you can choose the one that is just right for you
Nice job on the mount! |

Yeah my folks bought a Westinghouse 32" LCD HDTV off the internet for just a little over $400 in October and the thing is great! Truly amazing are the HD Channels, like watching Discovery Channel and what not. Awesome watching Outdoor type programs, like on the African Sahara ,I swear you can see every blade of grass blowing in the breeze. |

| While I prefer to get away from that sort of stuff while camping, I have to admire the work. Nice job Westyman, to each his own. I think a 52" would fit as a drop down from the pop-top when it is raised, but alas, I have neither the time, money, or desire, just was thinkin about it. |

| I dig it. I wouldn't want anything permanently in there but that looks like a good versatile spot with nothing distracting when it's out. I have recently been slacking on my projects and don't really need any more ideas right now, but someday I may have to steal this idea. |

| Probably a bit over-the-top for camping, sure, but for football gameday tailgating this is the greatest Vanagon mod (outside of the Subaru 2.2)I've ever seen. |

Last trip I took along one of these we got from Target a while back. Pretty fun, compact, and non-permanent. Just projected it on the front curtain, looked decent.

For those places where fires are banned, I've got one of these bad boys...
