| i have just bought my first type 1 after 5 type 2 s and some other cars , i live in finland now but have bought and sold buses in uk south africa and switzerland and driven through more than 15 countries in volkswagens .travelling and living in the world can be difficult , always having to adjust to culture lifestyle and making contacts but somehow with a funny looking german car the people of the world smile and try to help if they can, i would love to see this kind of thread on samba nice short stories about travels and journeys in volkswagens and the people that have helped you on your way when your lost or stuck, i have so many of these stories from 20 years on the roads of the world and would like to share them, please give me some feedback if anyone is up for some vw stories i am working on the first now and also scanning old photos to go with them watch this space, and tell us a good story wez |
