You got it. The one in my new single is hanging on for dear life.I may just try to carefully clean it and gorilla tape the back side of it to hold it together. I will call around and see if busted bus or another bus junkyard has a decent one |

Did you find that you needed the screws? |

| although it pained me to put them in because the tires throw water at the heads (which are caulked), pliable rubber has oils in it that cause glue to debond from it. Even 3M HD glue will eventually come loose so yes, we needed the screws. The mats on a 1977 are taller because there is no stand back to take up the rest. |

Steve did you reuse the top seat stand mat. Asking as i am currently looking for the best fix for the new Repro mats i got from WW and the passenger one does not cover top corner area and it will also not cover the top of metal lip that faces the cargo area. I have read your fix for the side of seat pedistal and wondering if you have insight into the top area? thanks for any help.

Ok, Well I am at the drawing board here trying to come up with best Seat stand mat fix for this top section. The conclusion is that I am going to purchase extra mats to make what i need. Going to use Steve's fix for the side seat stand mat on the swivel seat. And Chris at bustedbus.com is sending me out the piece of trim that covers the metal lip on rear of seat stand which should make the side and top mats come together nicely. Chris at bustedbus.com has everything I am missing, he saves the day once again.
I will post pictures of the final product soon, Hopefully. |
