DVDA's with a good can are probably worth about $100, possibly more. SVDA's maybe $60. |

as long as it's a balljoint beam you can use it... narrowed/adjustable or both :D
You might wanna start with drop spindles.. then decide if you wanna go lower |

Congrats on your Beetle! Awesome!!
I scored this year also. I picked up a 74 SB from California, it was shipped to Pa. approx. 6 months ago. I got it for a grand! It even had a rebuilt engine just put in, and of course, the underneath is like brand new. I know how you feel!

Standard has the beam axle, look around here, search and you'll understand them in no time.
The rear is torsion rod irs, it's hard to explain suspension design in text  just look for pictures and such and you'll see in no time. |

Plans are to leave it as OG lookin as possible but slam it slightly and drive the hell out of it!!! I towbarred it from Long Island to NC--what a trip! I want to thank Stall20 and the guys of Long Island VW club for all their help! |

| Come on guys. You should all know how you can easily tell that it is a Super Beetle. They have the vents behind the rear windows.A change that was made in the 71 on the Supers to increase air flow. |

just look at the hood. if the bottom is wide, it's a super. if the bottom is narrow, it's a standard. super also has a vent under the front bumper (for whatever reason) |

My 73 standard.
Super Beetles were too expensive for my dad when he bought this car new... First car I rode in, on the way home from the hospital at three days old. Now it's mine and I had to alter a few things... I had a 72 exactly like yours- yellow even. These are really good driving beetles but then again, which aren't? Great deal you got there!
