No, not a new club....
I just see a few of old V-Dubs cruising West Palm, and decided to create a topic to make it easy for us to find each other.

Let's bombard the place with VWs
Congress Ave (east of I-95) between Blue Heron Blvd and Northlake Blvd. Near the Wal-Mart.

Good to see someone start a thread for us locals! Hopefully more people will catch on and maybe get a show going? I heard JBBUGS has annual company picnics and would love to sponsor such an event! :^o

anyway guys, we have a VW meet going on, we just started meeting on Friday nights, every other Friday, there is a meet tonight and any of you guys are welcome, I am usually the only aircooled guy there so come help me out :p
Tonight we meet at Fuddruckers by the Wellington mall, starts around 8PM :)
And tomorrow I'm taking the bug to Homestead, free admission to watch the race, go in the pits, drive your car on the track, etc ...
Oh and on the 21st, I am having a photoshoot for a few cars, if you guys want to join :)

Glad to hear there are a few other VW folks out there! I live up in Jupiter and there are a handful airheads up yonder. I'd be interested in cruising or even helping start up a show.

I went to this months Abacoa and it was totally packed by 3 pm. I ended up parking outside and just did a walk through. If the weather is nice then folks will need to be there early.

On a side note, I was talking to some people and apparently the new Sonic drive in just south of Northlake Blvd. on Congress ave. is open to hosting car shows.

Anyone interested? It is pretty centrally located in Palm Beach County. If so, I will contact the manager and find out more.

sounds good to me lets get it going. after doing a search a few weeks ago on Sonics website, that is one of the closest ones to us in the dirty south :evil: let us folk in the dirty south know when this is going to happen so we can 'cruise-in' :wink: hope it is on a sat night :wink:
